Is the Wang in this for the long haul, or do you think he will look to unload the Islanders?

I'm just wondering if now that the real estate development is dead and buried, does he still want to own a hockey team?

Good question that has been debated on here before. Most of us hope he sells but others make the point why sell now after all the lean years and now things are finally on the up and up. We'll see

I can't say I'm surprised somebody is going to foolishly over pay him in July. Train wreck in his own end. Good on the PP but I think Viz is better and this gives Donovan a legit shot to make the team and get some pp time as well

I don't know he hits but is slow and brings nothing else to the table. I would look at other options first but if they can't get anything else then I guess he is worth a shot if the price is right

If Strait remains withthe team Butchie will be calling him Streit 60-70% of the time.
Cant say Im upset over this. He's def on the decline of skill & speed and became very predictable at the point with cutesy behind the back passes and not enuf shooting and besides...we have carkner locked up for two more seasons! Way to go garth!
